Asleep at the Table

I love when kids fall asleep while eating!! I think it is the cutest thing. I remember my little brother falling asleep in his food many times. Yesterday, I looked over at lunchtime to find Zachary asleep. As I was getting ready to post, I remembered that I had a picture of Noah asleep in his high chair as well. The first one is Zachary, and the second one is Noah. It is fun to see the similarities and differences in the boys.

A Trip to the Beach

After a very busy week with MusiCamp, we decided we needed a little R and R at the beach. We took a trip to Santa Cruz and to Capitola. The boys has a blast on the beach. Noah loved getting buried with sand and looking at the Tide Pools. Zachary just liked getting sand EVERYWHERE! Mommy decided that the beach would be so much better if it didn't have so much sand!! One of the highlights was finding three Starfish on the beach. We rescued two of them that seemed to still be alive. The third one was pretty stiff, so we brought him home!!

This picture makes me laugh. They look like they are in a deep conversation about these houses!!

Happy Birthday, Henry!

The week we returned from Minnesota there were a lot of fires, so it was very smokey. The kids were going crazy because they couldn't be outside. We were talking about things we could do, and Noah informed us that we needed to have a birthday party for Henry since we got him on our trip to Minnesota one year ago. So Noah and I made invitations and party hats. The guest list included Noah, Cody(Zachary's bear), Diego, Daddy, Mommy, and Zachary. A great time was had by all, however, Trevor and I have decided "Boy, has our life changed"!!!
All the guests sitting down for dinner!!

Henry even had a cake!!!

It's been a while

I apologize for how long it has been since I have done a post. I thought summer would give me more time, but that hasn't been the case. We had a great time on our annual Minnesota trip. The weather was georgous and we did a lot of really fun things. The highlight was getting to be a part of Trevor's brother's wedding!!

The boys, my mom, and I managed to take a trip down to see my Grammy. We had a great time with her!

We also visited the Mall of America where Noah got to meet Dora and Diego.
One day we went downtown Stillwater to the "Teddy Bear" park. This is by far the coolest park we have ever been to. They didn't hold back when designing and making this park. We all had a great time!!

We had a great time celebrating Matthew and Katie's wedding!! Trevor did a great job officiating!! It was a beautiful day! I wasn't able to get many pictures, but here is one of our whole fam all dressed up!
Noah decided that wedding receptions were so cool!! He got to have special drinks, special food, stay up late, and the best part... DANCING!!!! He was getting "jiggy with it" most of the time, he did however find a little time to dance with the ladies!!!! Here he is with his new cousin...

Spiderman

On Monday, we went to Ikea. They had a lady that was doing face painting, so Noah wanted her to paint Spiderman on him. I thought it was going to be a little Spidey on his cheek, but that is not what it turned out to be. He looked pretty cool though!

The finished product!!!

Boys and their Dog

We have had Cali for a month now, and she has been such a fun addition to our family. The boys love her. Although, Zachary and Cali have a love/hate relationship. If you hear whining and screaming coming from the other room, you know that Cali is biting on Zachary's feet (which seems to be her favorite chew toy). Here are a few pictures of her with the boys in the backyard.

I love this picture of Zachary and Cali!! It captures the two of them perfectly. They are both rather mischevious!! I can just hear the conversation in my head. "What could we do with this pool full of water?!!"
