Mindi's Birthday
I had a very nice birthday. Trevor does such a great job of making my birthday special even though it is the day after Christmas. We all stayed in our jammies until noon, the boys made me a special cake, and we went out to dinner with friends! What more could a girl want!!
The making of the cake!
Here is the finished product, a marble cake with peanut butter frosting and sprinkles. (Guess who was in charge of picking it out?)
Christmas Fun
We had a wonderful Christmas this year. It was a lot of fun to have two boys to celebrate with. It was neat to see Noah's anticipation as he understood what was going on. Zachary just liked taking all the ornaments off the Christmas tree!! I apologize that these pictures go the wrong way.
Zachary with his favorite present, Pizza Elmo!
Unlike his brother, he likes talking on the phone!!

Turkey Trot
On Thanksgiving morning, we all ran the Folsom Turkey Trot. Trevor ran the 10K and the boys and I ran (walked) the 5K. We had a lot of fun. Noah did amazing, he ran the majority of the first two miles. Then he rode with Zachary on the stroller quite a bit of the third, but ran the big finish!! He was kicking my butt!! I think he may take after his daddy. It was a beautiful morning and just a fun time together as a family.

Noah's Fourth Birthday
For Noah's fourth birthday, he wanted an airplane birthday party, so we talked to a friend that is a pilot and they offered to have it at their hanger and give the kids airplane rides. It was a very special day that I don't think anyone will forget.
The birthday boy!! I can't believe that my baby is already 4.
Here is the airplane that the kids were able to take a ride in.
Captain Noah and Pilot Dan
Captain Noah got to fly the plane. He was on cloud nine (literally). Pilot Dan had him sit on some boxes so that he could see. As they were taxiing out to the runway, the tower said "Happy Birthday, Noah" and blinked the tower lights at him. He will never forget that!!

Halloween
We had a lot of fun on Halloween. Noah made a very adorable Peter Pan and Zachary was the cutest Kangaroo ever!! Noah got to wear his costume to preschool, which he thought was pretty neat. In the evening, we went with Ben and Darla to the mall trick or treating. As you can see, both toys had a great time.
Noah loved his Peter Pan costume. He wore it (hat and all) from the moment he woke up until he had to put his p.j's on that night. I do have to tell you, the shoes are one of a kind, took 4 hours to make, mommy originals!!! I DON'T SEW!!
After picking out both the kids costumes, we found out that they were
It's so weird to see him with teeth!!

The Pumpkin Patch
Last Friday, both Trevor and I had the day off so we decided to take a road trip to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm. They had so much to do. Our favorites were the hay trampoline, petting farm (with newly born piglets), train ride, and hayride out to pick your pumpkins. It was such an enjoyable day!!
This kid is happy no matter what he is doing!!!

Apple Hill
About a month ago, we took a family trip to Apple Hill. We had so much fun together. We visited some of our favorite Apple Orches (as Noah calls them). The weather was beautiful, and the apples were tasty!!

Our trip to the Zoo
Last week it was our friend Julia's 5th birthday. She loves animals so she had her birthday at the zoo. It was a great party. The boys had a lot of fun. Whenever we hang out with the Lunas and Mayforths we contribute the only boys. Noah doesn't seem to mind too much!!
